Seabury Gould (bansuri bamboo flute, vocals & guitar) and Dr. Rahman Abdur (tabla) play classical music of North India and devotional songs. Dr. Rahman Abdur, from Bangladesh, is known for his dazzling technique and exhilarating rhythms on the tabla. Eclectic musician Seabury Gould lived in India for 2 years where he studied Indian music. He has studied Hindustani music with the legendary Ali Akbar Khan and bamboo flute master GS Sachdev. Seabury and Rahman perform Indian ragas and play music for the uplifting call-and-response devotional singing known as kirtan.
